Photovoltaic Projects - West and Central Africa
This activity of PVsyst Company is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility objectives in support of sustainable development for all and the local training of skills. It concerns a limited number of projects in West and Central Africa.
PVsyst Company supports the implementation of Water Towers with solar pumping and the development of Autonomous Electricity Systems for public communities: public primary schools, health centers or hospitals, and social centers.
The PVsyst software is used to design these projects.
Water Tower – Solar Pumping System
Objectives:
- Install a properly sized solar pumping system to protect the groundwater table.
- Provide access to drinking water with collective handwashing stations for schools and public water fountains for communities.
Water Fountain
Standalone Power Systems
Objectives:
- Install a standalone system to provide electricity to medical centers or schools during the evening.
- Mitigate power outages by implementing a solar installation connected to a battery bank, with a priority circuit for lighting and essential facilities.
