With its version 1.0, PVsystBasic offers an intuitive and simplified approach to simulating photovoltaic pumping systems. It allows you to configure, analyze, and optimize pumping projects thanks to a clear interface and tools adapted to essential needs.

  • System design: Quickly design photovoltaic pumping systems that work with sunlight. PVsystBasic guides you step by step in selecting components for your system sizing.
  • Simulation and results: Calculate the annual amount of water pumped, analyze key metrics such as water pumped, water distributed, and efficiency through detailed and intuitive reports.
  • Offline mode: PVsystBasic works entirely without an internet connection. The integrated databases allow you to perform your simulations without requiring network access.

  • Technical tools: a set of tools and explanatory materials covering the fields of photovoltaics, hydraulics, and electricity, designed to deepen and reinforce your knowledge.
  • Analysis tools: features that allow you to determine optimal operating points, analyze well characteristics from hydraulic tests, as well as many other key parameters.

Installation & System Requirements

Installation prerequisites:
  • PVsystBasic must be installed on the workstation where it will be used, and one license per computer is required.
Supported operating systems:
  • All client Windows versions currently supported by Microsoft: Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows 11 (32-bit or 64-bit)
  • All server Windows versions currently supported by Microsoft: Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022
Unsupported operating systems:
    Application servers (Citrix, ZenDesktop, ZenApp,…), Remote Desktop, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows Enterprise editions.
Minimum required configuration:
  • At least 2 GB RAM
  • At least 2 GB of free hard disk space
  • Graphics card supporting OpenGL 2.0 or higher
