In version 6.6.8 (02.02.18)

Novelties:
  1. New “orientation” option: unlimited trackers, horizontal axis
    No need for constructing a 3D scene

Novelties:
  1. Shadings: Tool for the detailed study of thin objects shading according to the object’s distance
  2. Shadings: added an advanced selection dialog.
  3. Pumping systems: completely new system dialog many improvements of the pumping systems management.
Improvements:
  1. Bi-facial systems model:
    – add 2 new contributions: beam component on the rear side
    – corrected contribution of the ViewFactor in the Loss diagram.
  2. Controller for Pumping systems: completely reviewed the definition dialog
    (especially concerning SOC thresholds).

Fixed errors:
  1. Shading 3D: in some cases, different plane orientations are not recognized
  2. Shading 3D Helios3D and complex scene: sometimes higher shading losses due to
    erroneous identification “Behing the plane”
  3. Trackers “tilted or horizontal axis”: errors when axis azimuth is not null
    (only significant with very high azimuths like 180°)
  4. Variables specified for CSV hourly files or Monthly tables
    were not well recorded on files  (=> necessitate redefinition at each run)
  5. SolarEdge and other optimizers used with Ageing: simulation crash when the
    Mismatch Rms values for ISC and Voc are null.
  6. SolarEdge optimizers: error when 2 modules strings at the optimizer input
    ( => very high shading or IAM loss)
  7. SolarEdge with Ageing: error in ModuleLayout,
    only significant when very big electrical shading contribution.
  8. Maxim optimizers: don’t appear in lists (in the version 6.64 only)
  9. Some very special cases, EOutInverter may slightly overcome PNom (0.03% error)
  10. Analyse of Measured data: error preventing any simulation (V 6.64 only)
  11. Unavailability loss: periods sometimes specified for another year than

Fixed errors:

Improvements:

Fixed errors:

    – using now the popular 3D platform  OpenGL
    – with a completely new drawing window and renewed tools organization
    more compatible with and similar to usual 3D tools
    – fluid navigation, high quality visual effects,

    – population of numerous tables in multiform zones,
    – Updated Help for all these new features

    possibility of sharing the maximum inverter power along the day either to 2 different MPPT inputs, or to each inverters in mixed orientation.
  6. IAM: easy use of predefined profiles  (Fresnel normal or with AR, Sandia) Renewed the dialog in the  “Detailed losses”.
  7. Measured data comparisons: import of the parameters of a simulation variant.
Improvements:
  1. Import of Meteo files from new providers (NSRDB, SolarAnywhere, 3-Tiers, etc),
    Updated the help.
  2. Import of multi-year meteo data files from several providers.
  3. Long-term degradation batches: the ‘year of simulation’ can be used as batch parameter.
Fixed errors:
  1. This version has been submitted to many Beta-testers. We tried of course to eliminate all reported bugs.
  2. Several (rare) bugs reported by users fixed.
