A project (design project) involves several files, which should be placed in a well-defined directory structure. Files are described in more depth here.

Note: Preliminary design projects are made of one file only, with extension .PSG (grid) or .PSS (stand-alone).
Projects and components can be imported from external files or exported to external files.
