In version 6.39 (22.07.2015)

Novelties:
  1. Complete tool for the optimization of shed (rows) systems. Based on series of simulations in batch mode, with optimizing graphs
  2. Helios3D: possibility of importing shading objects.
  3. Ground objects: may be defined explicitely by a custom file (CSV).
Improvements:
  1. Grid injection limitation: may ba applied to E_Grid at the injection point (formerly the limitation was applied at the inverter level).
  2. In the database lists: custom components identified with grey background.
  3. Import from PHOTON database: automatic correction of the Pnom-Vmp*Imp balance, and correction of the default Rs for getting Rel effic = -3% @ 200 W/m2.
  4. On the report: mention the origin of the data for the PV module (“original database” or “custom defined”).
  5. Orientation definition drawing: red point now at a more “logical” position.
  6. Meteonorm 7 management: warns when the .NET V 4.5 framework is not available (previously produced a crash).
Fixed errors:
  1. Blocking error when developing a tracking system in the version 6.45.
  2. Backtracking: error in diffuse shading factor calculation (only in V 6.45).
  1. Errors in the Google maps tool in some very special cases
  2. Tracking planes with not-zero axis orientation: error on shading factor (normally low, increases with Azimuth deviation).
  3. Calculation of mixed-orientation fields: sometimes balance errors in the loss-diagram (but the simulation result is correct).
  4. Domestic uses: seasons not updated for southern latitudes.
  5. Load definition: some dialog errors or inconsistencies.
  6. 3D Shading tool, namely Zone definitions: still some improvements and bugs fixed.

Improvements:
  1. Blocking error when developing a tracking system in the version 6.45.
  2. Backtracking: error in diffuse shading factor calculation (only in V 6.45).

  1. Shading calculations on a specified partial system => Allows the evaluation of very big systems with reasonable computing time.
  2. 3D editor: Management of object’s groups, lists of grouped objects, common modifications on groups of objects.
  3. Import of SolarGIS multi-year files, and written in UT (universal time).
  4. Tool for comparing meteo data (different years, or different sources) Graphs and probability profile for P90 evaluation, average and RMS.

Fixed errors:
  1. 2-axis and versical axis Tracking systems in southern hemisphere: error in the Diffuse shading factor.
  2. Helioclim data import: also accepts values expressed in TU.
  3. ModuleLayout, display of electrical effect: crashed.
  4. Electrical shading loss: thresholds on Linear contribution (V 6.26) also suppressed the contribution of thin objects.
  5. Pumping systems: unit error in the definition of the daily load.
  6. Bug limiting the rights for update for some few users.
  7. Bug when reading SolarGIS monthly data (from V 6.31).
  8. IAM loss management: transfer problems with Multi-arrays.
