Battery technologies

This section describes technological aspects useful when implementing these devices in real systems but not directly related to the PVsyst model or its use.

  • Lead-acid battery choice provides guidance for selecting lead-acid batteries (typically used in small standalone systems),
  • Li-ion device categories describe the types of li-ion batteries in the database: single cells, modules, assemblies (racks, cabinets), etc.,
  • Chemistries summarize general properties of li-ion technologies available on the market,
