To import Solcast TMY data, user registration is required.

Registration is free and can be completed from within PVsyst by simply providing your email address:

 

 

•Email: enter a valid email address to use as Solcast identifier.

•API key: enter existing Solcast API key, otherwise leave blank if no Solcast account has been previously created (a new API key will be automatically created).

 

Existing Solcast users can find their API key at https://toolkit.solcast.com.au/integration/pvsyst.

 

Create a new account

The first time you attempt to obtain climate data, you will need to create a Solcast account.

To do this, please enter a valid email address and leave blank the API key.

 

Use an existing account

If you already have a Solcast account, please enter the email address as well as the API key linked to the Solcast account.

 

Data access requirements

The Solcast data are available through a monthly subscription. Free tier users are provided 2 TMY and 5 Monthly Averages files per month. Additional file requests are available for pay for a monthly fee. More details are available in Solcast's pricing policy.
