Importing Solargis TMY data from API

Solargis typical meteorological year (TMY) data (https://solargis.com/docs/methodology/tmy-generation) can be imported into PVsyst by:

1.Using the Solargis API;

2.Downloading data from https://solargis.com/ and importing .csv files. For the procedure please read Importing Solargis hourly data or Importing Solargis monthly data.

Solargis time series or other available data can be imported using option 2.

Solargis API import

Within the geographical site parameters, select the Solargis TMY meteo data Import option, and click "Import":

Refer to https://solargis.com/products/evaluate/tech-specs for more details on coverage. The Solargis TMY option in PVsyst is currently available from latitude -60° to +60°.
Please check directly with Solargis for higher latitudes.

Solargis API interface

To import Solargis TMY data, user registration is required. You also need to acknowledge the use of a Solargis token before initiating a new request. Click OK or Retry to launch a request.

After a request has been validated, a request ID is generated and displayed. If for any reason the request in PVsyst has to be aborted, the request ID can be used to launch the request again.
It can also be used on the Solargis website to access directly the requested data.

API key: enter existing Solargis API key.

Request ID: displays current request ID. A request ID can be entered to reiterate a request.
