Synthetic hourly data generation

PVsyst generates synthetic hourly (and sub-hourly) weather data from monthly averages prepared in geographical sites. The resulting data are stored in .MET files and are required before any simulation can be run. Generation is done using the Meteonorm algorithm included in PVsyst.

This generation can be triggered in two ways:

• Automatically, when a new site is created a synthetic .MET file will be generated.
• Manually, using the dedicated tool described in Execute generation.
