Incidence Angle

The incidence angle  is defined as the angle of the sun's rays, with respect to the normal to the collector plane. Incidence angle is zero for normal incidence, and 90° for rays parallel to the plane.

The sun's height on the plane is the complement to 90° of the incident angle.
