Shading factor table

Calculating the shading factor at each simulation hour can be time-consuming.

To accelerate simulation execution, a table of shading factors for specific plane orientations is precalculated (at 10° intervals in tilt and 20° in azimuth). During simulation, the exact sun position is calculated and the corresponding shading factor is interpolated from this table (the "fast" shading calculation method).

This table is also used for the elaboration of the shading factor on diffuse and on albedo integrals.

The shading factor table is elaborated for all 3D fields of an orientation object.
