Wind Velocity

Wind velocity is used to calculate PV module temperature during operation and to estimate the array loss factor (\(U = Uc + Uv · Vw [W/m²k]\)). It is either a default value or taken from the associated site's monthly data if specified. Due to poor reliability of the source data and its minimal impact on PV array production, the use of wind velocity is not recommended.
