Altitude corrections
When associating a weather data file to the project site, the program can perform altitude corrections on the weather data (irradiation and temperature).
It should be noted that these altitude corrections, established for Switzerland based on Meteonorm monthly studies (Bremer 861), have not been thoroughly validated for hourly behavior or for local phenomena such as morning fog layers, which cannot be realistically accounted for. Additionally, this correction is not applied to diffuse irradiation, as the increase in irradiation with altitude primarily affects the direct component.
