Field in 3D

In the 3D editor, a field is an object (mechanical structure) that can receive PV modules and can be edited by double-clicking it.

A field may be a single table, or an array of tables or trackers. Domes are a particular kind of fields, associated by pairs with 2 orientations.

A field can also be a polygonal field or a multi-rectangular field (a set of coplanar rectangular tables). A multi-rectangular field is useful when defining a PV array on a roof with obstacles such as chimneys.
