Log and settings files

Log files track the main actions of the program and store error messages. They are stored in the Admin directory of PVsyst, which is located at

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\PVsyst\%version%

in Windows 10.

There is also a file that contains PVsyst settings: PVsyst.ini

Export log and settings files

Log files are intended for debugging only. In case of persistent error, it is a good practice to send the log files to the PVsyst team, with a description of the problem, see the Contact us section.

You can retrieve log files in the menu called File > Export logs on the main screen. Specify an export folder and it will create a zip file containing log and setting files.
