Import Measured IV

You can import a full measured I/V curve, with up to 400 points.

  1. Define your currents and voltages in an EXCEL document, then "Copy" these values and "Paste" them here.
  2. When ready, a "Model" sheet will appear.
  3. Define the exact irradiance and module temperature Gref and Tref as measured during the I/V curve recording.
  4. Click "Optimize" to obtain the best fit of the one-diode model to your data.
  5. You can now adjust the Rserie and Rshunt values to see their effect on the model. By clicking the default checkboxes, you can obtain the default values that PVsyst would propose without information from the full curve.
  6. If desired, the Set Model to Module button will transfer these model parameters to your module definition.

NB: This tool establishes the one-diode parameters using only one operating condition (usually near STC). It provides no information about temperature dependence, which must be defined by the muIsc and muPmpp parameters in the general PV module dialog.
